How to access the Health app
The Health app is a built-in app on all Apple devices that allows users to track their physical and mental health. The app has a variety of features, one of which is the ability to track and edit workouts. You can access the Health app by opening the “Health” icon on your iPhone’s home screen.
How to edit your workouts
The Health app on your iPhone lets you see all of your health and fitness data in one place. You can also use the Health app to track your workouts, including distance, time, pace, and more.
If you want to change or edit a workout after you’ve already logged it, you can do so from the Workouts tab in the Health app. Here’s how:
1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Workouts tab.
3. Tap the workout that you want to edit.
4. Make your changes, then tap Save.
How to add new workouts
If you recently completed a workout that isn’t available as an option in Health, you can add it manually.
Open the Health app.
Tap the Today tab, then tap your profile picture or initial.
Under Fitness, tap Workouts > +.
Choose the activity type, then enter your workout details. To credit Apple Watch for calories burned during this workout, turn on the option to Add to Apple Watch Calories.
How to delete workouts
There are a few ways you can delete workouts from your Health app. If you want to remove a single workout, you can do so by opening the Health app and tapping on the “Workouts” tab. From there, tap on the workout you want to delete and then tap on the “Delete” button.
If you want to delete multiple workouts at once, you can do so by tapping on the “Edit” button in the top right corner of the “Workouts” tab. From there, select the workouts you want to delete and then tap on the “Delete” button.
You can also delete workouts from your Health app by syncing your iPhone with iTunes and then deleting the workout files from your computer. To do this, connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. Select your device from the list of devices and then click on the “Apps” tab. Scroll down to the “File Sharing” section and select “Health.” From there, you can select the workout files you want to delete and then click on the “Delete” button.
Open the Health app and tap the Today tab. Tap your profile picture in the upper-right corner, then tap Sharing & Privacy > Send Workout. If you don’t see sharing & privacy, tap your profile picture > Health Profile. Choose how you want to send your workout:
AirDrop: Tap the name of the person you want to share with, or tap “More” and choose a contact or app.
iMessage: Tap , then choose a contact.
Mail: Tap , enter an email address, then tap Send.
Notes: Tap , enter a note, then tap Done.
How to use the Health app with other apps
If you have an iPhone 6s or later, you can use the Health app with other apps to track your fitness and activity. This feature is called “HealthKit.” To use HealthKit, you must first set up the Health app and then turn on the option to share your data with other apps. Once you’ve done that, you can start using HealthKit-enabled apps.
Here’s how to set up the Health app and start using HealthKit:
1. Open the Health app.
2. Tap “Get Started.”
3. Follow the instructions on your screen to set up the app.
4. Once you’ve set up the app, tap “Done.”
5. Tap “Edit” in the upper-right corner of the screen.
6. Tap “Add Data.”
7. Turn on any options that you want to use with HealthKit-enabled apps.
8. Tap “Done.”
9. Now you can start using HealthKit-enabled apps!

How to use the Health app with iPad
If you own an Apple iPad, you can take advantage of the Health app by editing your workouts to ensure that all of your relevant health information is stored in one place. You can edit your workout data by going to the “Workouts” section of the Health app and tapping on the “Edit” button in the top right-hand corner. From here, you can add or remove details about your workout, including the type of exercise, the duration, and the intensity. You can also add information about any rest periods that you took during your workout. Once you have finished editing your workout, tap on the “Done” button in the top right-hand corner to save your changes.
How to use the Health app with iPod touch
If you have an iPod touch, you can use the Health app to track your fitness and activity. To get started, download the Health app from the App Store. Once you’ve installed the app, open it and tap the Get Started button.
To add a workout, tap the “+” button in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, select the type of workout you want to track. You can choose from a variety of workout types, including walking, running, cycling, and more.
Once you’ve selected a workout type, you’ll need to specify some details about your workout. For example, you’ll need to specify how long you worked out for, and how many calories you burned. You can also add a note about your workout, if you’d like.
Once you’ve entered all of the necessary information, tap the Save button in the top-right corner of the screen. Your workout will be saved in the Health app, and you’ll be able to view your progress over time.
